The Port Moody Foundation is kicking off its 2019 community granting cycle.

The Foundation seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible registered charity organizations needing financial support in 2019 for projects and programs that will benefit Port Moody and its community members. Grants of $500 to $2000 may be given.

“Non-profit charity organizations provide the backbone that builds environmentally, culturally, and socially sustainable communities.” Port Moody Foundation president Robert Simons says. “We are pleased that through our annual grant program we can assist these organizations in their work to enrich our community.

An Expression of Interest should be limited to one page and outline a project or program that fits with the funding areas identified in the Foundation’s mission: arts and culture, heritage, sports and recreation, ecology and social betterment.

The Foundation will review all submissions and notify short listed applicants by March 1, 2019. Short listed applicants will be asked to submit a more detailed funding application by March 31, 2019. Final grant decisions will take place by May 1, 2019.
